Jim brought me home some wild plums from his
last log job. They discovered them while in the
woods.
So I made some cooked Jam with them. A little
runny (maybe should have cooked them longer) but
boy it is tasty! Good this winter on toast!
I saved the pits and I am going to plant them and
see how they do.
I will make a pie with the left over plums.
This is the life...wish I had more time to preserve
more items.
Well I better get back to my painting the porch
project.
Make some jam a fun way to spend a Saturday after
noon!
